A transfer from Puerto Rico, this strong armed switch-hitting backstop is hitting .364 with 2 doubles, 5 runs, and 7 RBI.
Jimmy Corcoran 1B, 6-3, 180 – Northwestern HS
All-State in soccer and baseball, this two-sport athlete just set the state record April 15 for 16 consecutive hits. Corcoran is currently batting an amazing .882 (15-for-17) with 3 home runs, 4 stolen bases, and 18 RBIs.

Strong armed righty is off to a fast start hitting .565 with 8 RBI, 3 home runs, and 6 stolen bases in only 23 at bats. Additional notes: .677 OBP, 1.087 SLG, 88 mph from Outfield, top senior at PBR’s Fort Wayne hitting camp.

Jones, state-qualifier in wrestling, is hitting .611 (11-for-18) with 2 home runs, 3 doubles, 6 RBI, and 8 runs in the heart of Avon’s offense.

Arguably best unsigned arm in Indiana, touching 88 mph in the 5th inning with a 70 mph hard breaking curve. In 11 innings pitched Kramp has tallied 17 Ks, 2 hits, 3 walks, and 0 earned runs. In his first outing of the year he threw a no-hitter with 11 strike outs.
Cameron Metzger OF, 5-10, 180 -Charlestown HS
Cameron is a 4.0 student and a very gifted athlete. Through 8 games, Cameron is batting .400 (10-for-25) with 2 HR's, 4 doubles, and 7 RBI's, with 10 runs scored. Cameron has only struck out 1 time in 30 plate appearances. Cameron has tons of speed, All-State running back on football team, and is currently 7-for-7 on SB's.

Slick fielding third baseman is having a breakout year for the Millers hitting .429 with 3 doubles, home run, 13 RBI, and .714 slugging percentage. 
Logan Mohr RHP, 6-3, 185 -Forest Park HS
Righty was 8-3 with a 2.20 ERA last season and is looks to be back to old habits this season with his 7 scoreless innings over Evansville Mater Dei.

After pitching in 10 innings this season, Mounsey has allowed five hits, 1 ER, 1 walk, with 17 Ks.  At the plate, Derek is hitting .400 (8-for-20) with three walks, 4 RBIs, and 6 runs to bring his on-base percentage to .478.

Olund was one of the top ranked players at PBR’s November showcase and is proving why. After 26 at bats, Olund is hitting .576 with 17 runs, and 6 RBIs. Additional note: perfect in the field with 10 put outs and 17 assist. Last season Olund batted .468 with 10 doubles, 32 RBI, and 43 runs scored.
J.D. Rice RHP/1B, 5-11, 165 –Crawfordsville HS
While hitting in the 4 hole, Rice’s batting average is .406 with 13 hits, 5 doubles, 6 RBIs, and .562 slugging percentage. On the mound he has a 2.52 ERA with a 3-0 record and 25 strike outs in 16 innings pitched. Additional note: has not allowed an earned run in his last 16 innings pitched.

Rieke is batting .345 after 11 games, with 4 doubles, 7 steals, and 9 runs scored.  Additional note: he can really go get it in center.
Michael Schroeder LHP/1B, 6-2, 210 North Newton HS
The left-handed pitcher and first baseman has 22 K’s and is 7-for-11 at the plate in 3 games this spring. Schroeder picked up from last year’s strong campaign pitching a complete game with 15 strikeouts, 8 of the first 10 he faced, and a home run in his first game of the 2009 season.   Three days later North Newton played in the championship of the KV classic and he strikes out 7 of 9 batters and goes 3-for-4 at the plate with 4 RBI's. 

Cory Thomas RHP, 6-2, 175 –Seymour HS

Thomas is 3-0 with a save this season, but maybe a more impressive stat is who he has did it against (
Zionsville, New Albany, Jeffersonville). On the mound he has pitched 22 innings, 1 shutout, 9 hits, 0 earned runs, 24 strike outs and only 4 walks.
Damon Vest C, 5-10, 175 –Charlestown HS
Damon has currently thrown out 69% of the attempted base stealers that he has seen, 9-for-13. “Damon has a best pop time this season of 1.94,” says Coach Ricky Romans.  “He is working extremely hard this season to become a better hitter but is a major threat when he reaches.” Currently, Damon is 7-for-8 in stolen bases on the season.
