Caleb Fenimore (right), a 6-foot-1, 215-pound catcher from Rushville HS, has committed to IPFW. At a recent PBR showcase, Fenimore showed that he is one of the best all-around catchers in the state. He displayed impressive pop times of 1.87, 1.9 and 2.05 with throws on the bag, and solid arm strength (78 mph). Fenimore was also one of the top Class of 2010 hitters at the event, demonstrating polished swing mechanics with power potential and is a top-level student.Fenimore enjoyed a strong junior campaign, finishing with a .382 batting average, 33 RBIs, 9 doubles, and a .605 slugging percentage. Fenimore will join teammate SS Jordan Hoeing and SB Washington’s OF Malcolm White as part of IPFW’s recruiting class. In other news, Bradley Stewart of Eastern Pekin HS committed to Illinois College and 6-foot-2 right-handed pitcher Kelley Wagner from Brownstown Central high school is heading to Owens Community College in Ohio.
